Living the Mediterranean
In the small harbour of Portinatx, at the northern tip of Ibiza, a former fishermen's hostel has been turned into one of the island's most recognisable places. Los Enamorados was born from the meeting of Pierre Traversier, a former professional basketball player and collector, and Rozemarijn de Witte, a Dutch journalist and editorial director. Together they imagined a space that could tell a different Ibiza: more authentic, creative and deeply Mediterranean, far from the nightlife imagery that made the island famous.
Every room reflects the character of its founders and makes room for vintage furniture, twentieth-century design pieces, textiles gathered on their travels, artworks and objects collected over the years, that coexist without following one precise style. The rooms are all different, but share the same philosophy: facing directly onto the sea, letting the light in and living the spaces naturally. Nothing is purely decorative, and every piece tells a story and, almost always, can be bought in the hotel's boutique.
The rooms
Small in size but rich in personality, Los Enamorados' nine rooms are designed as refuges facing the Mediterranean. Each has a different identity, built through colours, vintage furniture, artworks and objects personally selected by the owners.
Double Room
Sea-view room with private balcony, Coco-Mat bed, vintage furniture and details gathered during the founders' travels.
Superior Room
Larger spaces and a stronger continuity between indoors and outdoors. Each room interprets the character of Los Enamorados through a unique combination of materials, colours and objects.
Sea View Room
The privileged position over the small harbour of Portinatx means waking up to the sound of the waves, with the sea as an integral part of the room.
Everything is for sale
One of the things that makes Los Enamorados unique is the total continuity between hotel and concept store. Chairs, lamps, rugs, ceramics, textiles, books, Japanese kimonos, vintage furniture and objects gathered over years of travel are part of the everyday setting and, in most cases, can be bought.
More than a boutique, it's a personal archive open to guests. Sleeping here means living inside the founders' private collection, where every object carries a story and helps define the identity of the place.
Dining
Breakfast
Breakfast prepared to order with coffee, fresh juices, home-made pastries and light dishes to enjoy while looking out over the harbour.
Restaurant
A kitchen inspired by contemporary Mediterranean cuisine, where fresh fish from Portinatx's fishermen sits alongside vegetable dishes, tacos, ceviche and seasonal ingredients.
Beach Bar
Classic cocktails, piña coladas, natural wines and music accompany the sunset, turning the terrace into one of the best-loved meeting places in the north of Ibiza.
Long Table
The big communal table reflects the spirit of the house: guests and locals share the same space, making the restaurant a meeting point before it is a culinary destination.
The location
Facing directly onto the small harbour of Portinatx, Los Enamorados tells a different side of Ibiza. Here the sea sets the rhythm of the days, fishermen still head out at dawn, and coastal paths lead to hidden coves and the lighthouse that overlooks the island's northern tip. It's a slower Ibiza, made of nature, Mediterranean light and small communities, where the project speaks with the landscape without altering its identity.
